Terms of Service
These are the terms for using buyWords. Plain English, the standard sections, no buried surprises. What you get, what we expect, and exactly how billing, the trial, and cancellation work. If something here is unclear, ask us and we will explain it in fewer words than the terms.

The service
buyWords is a content operations platform for managing professional content across authorized employee and company LinkedIn accounts in one place: drafting in each person's voice, researching topics, planning an editorial calendar, moving posts through a content pipeline, reading content analytics, and coordinating a team to distribute approved content. These terms cover your use of that service, this website, and anything we ship alongside them.
By creating an account or using buyWords, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you have the authority to bind it. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Accounts and access
You sign in with a magic link sent to your email, so keep your inbox secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the people you invite into your workspace.
- You must give accurate account information and keep it current.
- Roles are scoped: a workspace owner or admin can invite members, manage profiles, and change roles; contributors see and manage their own work.
- You are responsible for the actions of everyone you bring into your workspace and for keeping access to your inbox and account secure.
- Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
Acceptable use
Use buyWords for its intended purpose: creating, approving, and publishing professional content for the people and companies you are authorized to represent. Do not use it to do harm or to break the rules of the platforms it connects to.
- Do not break the law, infringe anyone's rights, or violate LinkedIn's or any connected platform's terms.
- Do not publish content you are not authorized to publish, or impersonate a person or company you do not represent.
- Do not use the service to send spam, harass, deceive, or post unlawful or hateful content.
- Do not probe, scrape, overload, reverse-engineer, or resell the service or its APIs, or use it to build a competing product.
- Do not interfere with the security, integrity, or availability of buyWords for anyone else.
We may suspend or terminate accounts for serious or repeated violations, especially where they put other users or our providers at risk.
Plans, trial, and the $0.95 activation
buyWords is offered on paid plans billed monthly or annually, with a 7-day full-access trial ($0.95 to start). Prices and what each plan includes are shown on the pricing page, and we will tell you before any price change takes effect. The current plans are:
- Starter: $99 per month.
- Team: $199 per month.
- Corporate: $399 per month.
- Agency: $999 per month.
Paid plans start with a 7-day full-access trial and a one-time $0.95 activation charge. The activation confirms a valid payment method and is non-refundable. During the trial you are not charged the plan price.
If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your plan begins and the first monthly charge applies. After that, the plan renews automatically each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel. Charges are handled by our payment processor; you authorize us to charge your payment method for the plan and any applicable taxes.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel any time from your account settings. Cancel before the trial ends and you will not be charged the plan price; the $0.95 activation is non-refundable. Cancel during a paid period and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, with no further charges after that.
Except where the law requires otherwise, fees already charged are non-refundable, and we do not pro-rate partial periods. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal. We may suspend or terminate accounts for non-payment or for violating these terms.
Intellectual property
buyWords, including the software, design, and brand, belongs to us and our licensors. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your account is in good standing. They do not transfer any ownership in the product to you.
You keep ownership of the profiles, posts, voice settings, and other content you bring or create. You grant us the limited license needed to host, process, and display that content so we can operate the features on your behalf. We do not claim ownership of your work, and we do not use it to train models for anyone else.
Third-party platforms and AI output
buyWords connects to LinkedIn and other services and uses AI to draft, suggest, and analyze. Those connections depend on the third parties' availability and terms, which can change outside our control.
AI suggestions are a starting point, not a finished, fact-checked, on-policy post. You are responsible for reviewing everything before it goes live, including for accuracy and for fit with LinkedIn's rules. We make no promise about specific results, engagement, or audience size; outcomes depend on your content, your readers, and the platform.
Disclaimers
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, buyWords will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the service.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. If a change is material, we will give you reasonable notice before it takes effect, for example by email or in the app. Continuing to use buyWords after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms. If you do not, you can stop using the service and cancel.
